2027 T-Dog Races are here!

This year on March 19–21, 2027, the T-Dog will be hosting three races: 200 miles, 135 miles, and 50 miles.

The T-Dog 135 and T-Dog 50 will follow the same format as last year, while the T-Dog 200 is getting a redesign that takes teams through the historic mining community of Eureka!

T-DOG 200

On Friday, teams will travel self-supported from Minto, through Eureka, to Manley.

After a mandatory rest and Sourdough Start in Manley, teams will race through the Minto Flats, with a hospitality stop at the Tolovana Roadhouse, before continuing on to Nenana and finishing in Fairbanks.

The T-Dog 200 is open to mushers only and is an official Iditarod qualifier.

T-DOG 135

Teams travel self-supported from Manley to Nenana, with a mandatory rest and Sourdough Start in Nenana.

This race is open to mushers, skijor teams, bikejor teams, bikers, and skiers.

Bikers and skiers may choose to travel straight through without the mandatory rest or Sourdough Start.

T-DOG 50

The Nenana-Fairbanks 50 is back and open to bikers, skiers, mushers, skijorers, bikejorers, and tag sleds!

Join us at Lat 65 Brewing Company on October 23 for our in-person sign-up event!

The event begins at 6 p.m., with sign-ups officially opening at 7 p.m. Alaska Time both in person and online.

Anyone who signs up in person during the first 30 minutes will be entered into a drawing for a free race entry. One winner will be drawn for each race!

Not racing? Come hang out and support the T-Dog, participate in our Decorate a Trail Marker fundraiser, or sign up to volunteer and help make the 2027 races happen!

Come meet fellow racers and volunteers, ask questions, and get ready for another season of traveling through wild Alaska with dogs, bikes, skis, and sleds.
