Teams will travel self-supported from Manley to Minto on the first day. Time spent on the first day of the race does not impact finish position. After a mandatory rest and Sourdough Start in Minto, teams will race 100 miles to finish at Trail Breaker Kennel in Fairbanks with a mandatory 4-hour layover in Nenana. This race is open to dog mushers only (10-dog team) and is an official Iditarod qualifier.
