We met the $5,000 matching challenge!

Over the last week, we asked the community to help unlock a $5,000 matching challenge and a $2,500 bonus challenge for the Tanana Valley Sled Dog Race in honor of Susan Butcher Day.

Thanks to the generosity of Jane Butcher, and the incredible support from our community, we're proud to share that together we met the $5,000 matching challenge.

While we didn't quite reach the additional $2,500 bonus challenge, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and helped spread the word. The community support truly makes a difference for the mission of T-DOG.

Susan Butcher's legacy lives on through the Tanana Valley Sled Dog Race. Founded by her daughter, Tekla Butcher-Monson, T-Dog brings mushers, volunteers, and communities together to support mentorship, adventure, and the next generation of dog mushing.
